The 1st stage of the Koktobe City Residential Complex was the first project in Kazakhstan to receive a Japanese 9-point seismic resistance certificate. Kazuo Watanabe, an expert of the Japan State Commission for assessing the viability of buildings after earthquakes, monitored the construction progress, made earthquake resistance analysis and gave his recommendations. Based on the analysis of the project, carried out on the basis of special software in the relevant institutions of Japan, recommendations were made to strengthen the project, which were first implemented on this project. All this allowed the project to receive the long-awaited certificate of conformity for seismic resistance according to the Japanese standard.
The construction of the 1st stage was started in 2012 and successfully completed in 2013. To date, all apartments of the 1st stage have been sold and occupied.

High Tech Academy school

High Tech Academy is a unique educational project that was the first in Kazakhstan to introduce the American-Finnish Project Based Learning (PBL) method. Students do not memorize a set of facts in each class, but engage in interdisciplinary research group projects based on real problems of our time.

“Leikki” prep. school is located on the grounds of the HTA school in a specially designed building. The goal of pre-school preparation is to lay a solid foundation for learning through play. LEIKKI preschool students participate in joint projects with the elementary school. This is how we ensure a smoother and faster transition from preschool to primary school.

Budokan (translated from Japanese as “martial arts hall”) is a sports and arts center at High Tech Academy. There are swimming pool of 25 meters, gym with equipment from TechnoGym, own climbing wall, martial arts hall and group exercise classes. Also here you can attend piano lessons, choir singing and pottery classes.
